Victor Frankenstein and Henry Clerval defend themselves from angry villagers in a new adaptation of 'Frankenstein' by Kit Wilder, which will see its world premiere March 23-April 23 at City Lights Theater Company, While Kit Wilder's adaptation of "Frankenstein" hews pretty closely to Mary Shelley's novel, the playwright/director is using modern technology to help the cast of City Lights Theater Company's production tell the Victorian horror story. In particular, projection bursts on the German Expressionist-style set pieces are designed to give the audience glimpses into the mind of the Creature, played by Nick Mandracchia.

Jack Harris , a vaudeville-performer-turned-Hollywood-producer best known for developing and producing the classic 1958 horror film "The Blob", died Tuesday at age 98. His daughter, Lynda Resnick, confirmed the news to the Associated Press . His career as a producer began in 1954, when he teamed with the Boy Scouts of America and traveled the country promoting and marketing the film "Jamboree".
