Director Tim Burton sank his hands and feet into the cement at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday, marking a genre-bending resume which has straddled stop-motion, action fantasy and ghoulish horror. The 58-year-old was recognized for a career spanning three decades which has seen him Oscar-nominated for animated features "Corpse Bride" and "Frankenweenie" and garlanded with numerous other awards for his ecletic ouevre.

Caruso's haunted kids movie The Disappointments Room , a wrenching domestic Gothic horror movie starring Underworld 's Kate Beckinsale and written by former Prison Break star-turned-writer Wentworth Miller, whose 2013 chiller Stoker was one of the best horror films of that year. Dana and her husband Dave are trying to save their ailing marriage and move, with their son Jeremy, into a dilapidated country manor near an aging Eastern seaboard town.
