Because of the threat of inclement weather on July 1, the showing of the original "Jaws" movie at Pierce Beach Park was postponed, but the 1975 movie about the great white shark that terrorizes an island has been rescheduled to be shown at the park this Sunday, July 17, following the concert at the beach. The concert is scheduled to end at 8 p.m., so Somerset Recreation Director Barry Fontaine said the movie, which is two hours and 35 minutes long, will start at about 8:20 p.m. Fontaine said he expects a big audience for the movie that is a cult classic, but also thinks a lot of people from the Beatles tribute band concert at the park that night will stay for "Jaws."
