Actor Johnny Depp has described the time his daughter spent at London's Great Ormond Street hospital as the darkest period of his life. In 2007, the then seven-year-old Lily-Rose was admitted to the world-famous children's hospital for nine days as a result of kidney failure caused by E.coli poisoning while Depp was filming at Pinewood Studios.

As the youngest boy in a family of five kids, actor Raymond Ochoa says he could easily relate to the anxieties of the animated hero he voices in "The Good Dinosaur." The 14-year-old provides the voice of 11-year-old Arlo, a knobby-kneed Apatosaurus who's more fearful than fearsome, but desperate to find his place in the world and make his parents proud.

The Killers are set to release this year's Christmas single, thought to be called 'Dirt Sledding'. As LA Weekly reports, the band's tour manager Ryan Pardey recently described the track's accompanying video: "A deranged Santa walks up to the camera in the middle of the desert, pulls a tomahawk out of his bag and lights it on fire.

Leading Radio 4's Christmas Day schedule will be Oscar-winning actor Irons as he recites TS Eliot's Old Possum's Book Of Practical Cats, revisiting favourites like Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer, Old Deuteronomy and Mr Mistoffelees 78 years after the poems were first broadcast in 1937.
