In celebration of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW's 40th anniversary, audiences across the UK can relive Richard O'Brien's sinfully twisted salute to horror, sci-fi, b-movies and rock music. The screening of the iconic film will be preceded by a live audience Q&A with the show's stars Patricia Quinn and Nell Campbell , with video link to Tim Curry .

Tom Cruise in talks over remake of The Mummy films, with Universal hoping to bring it's monster genre to the fore. Photo / Getty The Mission: Impossible star is at the top of the shortlist to lead the film, as Hollywood studio Universal looks for a big star to anchor the movie, according to Variety.com.

There are films that come along that feature some recognizable actors and offers up what looks like it could be a surprise hit despite having a really small budget. One of those is The Last House that features Jay of Jay and Silent Bob fame Jason Mewes and a cameo from Sleepaway Camp star Felissa Rose, but does it have anything to offer to help it stand out or will it be a house not worth stepping into? The Last House follows a young man who must rescue his girlfriend who has been kidnapped by a satanic trio of escaped mental patients holding her hostage in a Hollywood home before their sadistic plans can be realized.

But ever since Mel Brooks' loosened the stitches from Mary Shelley's monster, moviemakers have had a hard time finding a fresh take on the mythology.

Despite set photos popping up online a few weeks ago, Marvel Studios has now announced that production has officially begun on the upcoming Doctor Strange and confirmed the film's cast. Production on the film is currently set up in London with additional plans to shoot in New York and Hong Kong.

The author of a new book on Frank Sinatra tried to put to rest a rumor that apparently won't die: that the entertainment legend, not Woody Allen, is the biological father of Mia Farrow's handsome, blue-eyed son Ronan. In an interview Monday on NPR's "Diane Rehm Show," James Kaplan, author of the second volume of "Sinatra: The Chairman," said there is no way the "My Way" singer could have gotten together with ex-wife Mia Farrow and conceived Ronan, 27, around March 1987.

Why do we love A Christmas Carol so much that we see it again and again, year after year? It's an annual pageant of redemption that gives us a villain we get to boo, and a reformed soul we get to cheer. Scrooge stands in for our guilty and regretful selves, and offers the hope of meaningful change, even when it seems too late.
