Dana Beach, Coastal Conservation League founder and director, has been named a “Hero of the Seas” by the prestigious Peter Benchley Ocean Awards. He will be awarded the honor in May. The award program recognizes “excellence in marine conservation solutions across a wide range of expertise,” according to a news release.
