With so many movie stars flocking to the small screen, Juliette Lewis , who has a long list of film credits including "Cape Fear" and "From Dusk Till Dawn," says she resisted taking a TV role for a long time. "It was a very grown-up decision for me to take a series," said Lewis, 41, in a recent interview, who confessed to having a "fear of playing one character for potentially years."

The 62-year-old actor, who has starred in the Taken movie series, admitted he is ready to call time on his ass-kicking career once he hits 64, reported The Guardian. "Maybe two more years - if God spares me, and I'm healthy," said the former boxer.

Critically acclaimed US director David Lynch has condemned cuts to arts and music in schools as a "pathetic thing", urging a Brisbane audience to remain champions of the sector. The first exhibition of creative works by filmmaker, visual artist and musician Lynch to be held in Australia has opened at Brisbane's Gallery of Modern Art.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the live-action reboot is bathed in a stunning Technicolor palette reminiscent of Disney's '50s and '60s heyday - but seems to have skimped on the writing budget. Even the great Cate Blanchett, as Cinderella's wicked stepmother, is mostly relegated to mugging on the sidelines, albeit in a series of terrific green-hued gowns.

During SiriusXM's Town Hall Radio hosted by Entertainment Weekly's Jess Cagle, Neill Blomkamp and Sigourney Weaver couldn't get into too many details about that Alien reboot, but Weaver did reveal one thing: "Let's just put it this way," Weaver teased, "We've found the host and it's been embeddeda it's gestated." Also on the panel were Chappie castmembers Jackman, Dev Patel, and Sharlto Copley, who talked about the just-released sci-fi film, from the inspiration behind it to Copley feeling the need to perform many of his own stunts.

I remember exactly where I was when I first watched Jurassic Park - hiding behind a couch at my dad's friend's house, hands covering my ears to muffle the terrifying sound of dinosaur yelps and roars spewing from his surround-sound speakers. The film's sound designer, Gary Rydstrom, spent months recording and fine-tuning these sounds, he told Kyle Buchanan over at Vulture .
