Wolf Creek Sequel on the Way

In a recent interview with Fangoria, Australian writer/director Greg McLean announced that he’s working on a sequel to his 2005 shocker Wolf Creek. Like the original, Wolf Creek 2 will be based on a true story and will feature the the same reprehensible Outback villain — Mick Taylor — who tortured and/or killed the stranded tourists in the first film. McLean, who also helmed the Aussie killer croc pic Rogue, mentioned that his original intention was to create a villain who could be “the basis for many stories,” so don’t be surprised if there’s a Wolf Creek 3 or 4 down the line as well. There’s no word, though, on when exactly we can expect to see Part 2.
