There have been nine (!) movies so far in the Amityville Horror series — the last being the pedestrian 2005 remake of the original 1979 film (arguably the only good entry in the franchise). But within the past week, there’s been word of not one, but TWO additional Amityville movies in the works — each with a trendy approach.
