Trailer for Single-Shot Horror Movie The Silent House, Opening in May

The Uruguayan film The Silent House (AKA La Casa Muda) has been one of the more buzz-worthy horror movies for a while, partially for the effectiveness of the movie and partially because it’s filmed in real time in a single shot. That’s 78 minutes without a single cut. You can get a sense of what that looks like in the new trailer. The Silent House has received such buzz, in fact, that there’s already an American remake shot and in the can! You can catch the original first, though, when IFC makes it available on demand starting May 11. (I’ve heard conflicting reports that there may be a limited theatrical release on May 6.)
