The Woman to Take a Bite Out of Theaters in October

Lucky McKee’s The Woman, the sequel to The Offspring (both based on Jack Ketchum books) about a man’s attempt to keep a wild cannibal woman captive, now has a release date from the Bloody Disgusting Selects series: October 14. The film caused a bit of a stir at Sundance this year, but despite the disturbing content, the new trailer shows quite a flair for quirky dark humor. For my money, McKee (May, Red, The Woods) has yet to miss, so I’m certainly looking forward to what he has to offer this time around.
