The Thing Prequel Pulled from Universal’s Schedule

It’s been over two years since word of a prequel to The Thing emerged, but apparently that’s not long enough for Universal. The studio has pulled The Thing from its 2011 schedule, citing the fact that the film is “not yet ready” — even though it has a full five months before its previously assigned release date of April 29.
