The Crow Remake Hits Snag with Lawsuit

The remake re-invention of The Crow that recently nabbed 28 Weeks Later director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo has hit a speed bump in the form of a lawsuit filed by The Weinstein Company, whose affiliated companies have released the four Crow films up to this point. TWC claims that it owns the distribution rights to any Crow remake and has sued to prevent Relativity Media, the company behind the proposed re-invention, to sell such rights to another company.
