Sink Your Teeth into the Dark Shadows Trailer

Not having seen footage from Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows, it was hard to tell if the Johnny Depp-led adaptation of the classic vampire TV show would be a horror movie with comedy overtones (like the Burton-Depp Sleepy Hollow) or a comedy with horror overtones (like the big-screen version of The Addams Family). Now, with the release of the first trailer for the film, we have our answer: it’s the latter. Despite the apparent lack of horror thrills, though, Dark Shadows looks like a fun fish-out-of-water tale with Deep as a 200-year-old vampire trying to adapt to life in the 1970s. Look for it in theaters starting May 11.
