Scary Movie 5 Pushed Back to 2013

Given there’s only two months until the April 20 release date of Scary Movie 5 and we have yet to have a confirmed cast or plot, much less a trailer or any imagery, it should come as no surprise that The Weinstein Company has postponed the film. Now, we won’t get to see the fifth entry in the long-running horror spoof series until January 11, 2013 — meaning two things: 1) there’s another year of pop culture references that will be crammed into the movie, and 2) the inevitable Paranormal Activity gag will be all the more dated.
