Fall Down Dead is a serial killer thriller starring Dominique Swain and Udo Kier that was filmed way back in 2007 but is just now being released on DVD because, well, it’s pretty bad. Thought the upcoming sequel to Quarantine was going straight to video? Well, think again. It's kind of last-minute news on the distributor's part, but it turns out that Quarantine 2:Terminal is getting a nominal theatrical release in a handful of locations (10, to be exact) starting this Friday, June 17. Check here for a list of theaters, and if you can't make it to those locations, check out these new photos and the trailer. There's no word yet on when the movie will hit home video, but I'd guesstimate August or September.

J.J. Abrams' eagerly anticipated Super 8 easily topped the box office this past weekend with an estimated $37 million, a number that's far from a record amount -- comparable to alien invasion films Cloverfield ($40 million) and Battle: Los Angeles ($36 million) -- but considering Super 8's $45 to $50 million budget is only a third of many summer blockbusters nowadays, it stands to make quite a tidy profit when all is said and done. Final numbers are due late Monday.

Last year’s Wolfman remake/reboot was a critical and commercial disappointment, but that apparently isn’t stopping Universal from mining its 1941 werewolf classic for more material. Moviehole is reporting that the studio is preparing a “reboot” that pretty much ignores the 2010 Anthony Hopkins-Benicio Del Toro flick altogether and uses the original movie as the jumping-off point. A previously written script for a sequel is reportedly being adapted as an original film that Moviehole speculates could begin shooting as early as this fall.
