If the cover art for the Evil Things DVD reminds you of Quarantine, then the distributor has done its job. This little direct-to-video horror movie uses the same “found footage” format as Quarantine (plus dozens of other flicks over the past decade), and for stretches, it’s arguably as scary as its better-known counterpart. Hopefully, Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, which explores the back story of the cannibal kin from the original movie, will reverse the franchise’s downward trend. I’m not sure if the new trailer inspires a ton of confidence, but it at least looks like it could be good for some fun. We’ll find out for sure when Wrong Turn 4 hits home video on October 25.
