No really, THIS will be the last exorcism…unless it’s a hit. Again. Despite its title, The Last Exorcism is spawning a sequel. The low-budget documentary-style found-footage film was a surprise hit last summer, sending the the profitability-to-likelihood of a sequel ratio through the roof (Insidious, I’ve got my eye on you.). A script is being written, and production is scheduled to begin this fall.
