Originally aiming for a release around — when else? — Mother’s Day of this year, the remake of the cult exploitation film Mother’s Day has been pushed to “TBD” status, according to director Darren Lynn Bousman. Unlike recent delays to Priest, The Roommate, Underworld 4, Piranha 3-D and Season of the Witch, Mother’s Day was independently financed and thus hasn’t been sold to a distributor, so any initial release plans were more hope than reality anyway.
