Jamie Foxx to Write, Direct Horror Anthology for SyFy

Fresh off his leading role in Quentin Tarantino’s hit Western Django Unchained, Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is branching out into horror — on SyFy of all places. Foxx is set to write, direct and executive produce a horror anthology miniseries for the cable channel, to air during its annual 31 Days of Halloween marathon. The as-yet-untitled show will consist of five half-hour episodes that SyFy describes as “in the vein of television classics like Tales from the Crypt and The Twilight Zone” full of “creepy morality tales with themes such as envy, jealousy and superficiality.”
