The Starz Original Series Ash vs Evil Dead continues to roll on since its cable debut on Halloween 2015, detailing the resurrected exploits of Ash Williams, the hero from director Sam Raimi 's iconic Evil Dead franchise of horror films. Also returning is composer Joseph LoDuca, whose excellent and vintage sounding score has received release on digital and CD , just in time for the holiday season.

Vikings actress Gaia Weiss and relative nerwcomer Freddie Thorp have joined the cast Overdrive , the Scott Eastwood action vehicle being produced by Taken director Pierre Morel and Christopher Tuffin. Thorp will play Eastwood's brash and reckless younger half-brother while Weiss will play a confident and seductive thief who aids the brothers in their plan to outwit two rival gangsters in the South of France.

Cheyenne's first-ever three-day comic convention is coming to town next year, and fans couldn't be happier. The announcement was made Monday night at the Asher building in downtown Cheyenne by organizer Phil Mitotes who also owns The Loft Collectible Cards and Games.

The Library of Congress has announced its latest additions to the National Film Registry, its compendium of motion pictures that have been judged to be culturally, aesthetically or historically important and worthy of preservation for future generations. The Registry covers not just Hollywood studio classics and box office hits, but also independent films, documentaries, experimental works, cartoons, music videos, educational and training films, ads, and even home movies, in what is the most democratic, and American, of film lists.
