This weekend, the Quad Theater in New York City will be hosting a two-day event dedicated to the films of B-horror legend Larry Cohen! In anticipation of this event, the folks over at Indiewire sat down with Cohen to discuss his thoughts on horror, filmmakers he enjoys, and a lot more! Perhaps one of the most interesting moments comes when Cohen explains that James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy , wanted to direct a remake of the 1974 killer baby film It's Alive ! " James Gunn is a fan and a friend. He wanted to make a remake of It's Alive actually, but he couldn't raise enough money to buy the rights.

The 56-year-old actress is known for her starring roles in movies such as 'Boogie Nights', 'The Kids Are All Right' and 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park', but has admitted scoring great roles wasn't always easy for her as she says she "could not book a movie" for years at the start of her career. She said: "I could not book a movie.

Michael Rooker's career has soared in recent years, with a key role as antagonist Merle Dixon on the hit series "The Walking Dead" and the part of blue-skinned space pirate Yondu in the smash franchise "Guardians of the Galaxy." In the "Guardians" sequel, out Friday, he gets to shine even more as his character gets an emotionally stirring plotline that is garnering much praise.

Unlike many of his journeymen contemporaries, who toil in the background for years until they snag a big break, Rooker earned one of his meatiest and most dangerous, roles straight out of the gate, playing the title character in 1986's Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer , his debut feature performance.

Variety reports that director Brian De Palma is back with his new film after five years away since his 2012 movie 'Passion', which starred Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace, but now the 'Scarface' creator has announced his next thriller 'Domino'. The film is written by Petter Skavlan and follows Copenhagen-based police officer who seeks justice after his partner is murdered.

The bellicose North regularly flight-tests a panoply of ballistic missiles that could, in war, be capped with miniaturized nuclear warheads and strike its two democratic neighbors and U.S. allies.

A sandwich shop in New Westminster, B.C., is proving that even an A-list actor can't resist the lure of free food. Alex Johrden, spokesman for Big Star Sandwich Co., says staff heard about a movie filming in the area and decided to put a sign outside the restaurant on Tuesday that said "Liam Neeson eats here for free," hoping the action hero would stop by.
