EARTHLING PUBLICATIONS has announced a new CLIVE BARKER project. THE PAINTER, THE CREATURE, AND THE FATHER OF LIES edited by Phil and Sarah Stokes with interior art by CLIVE BARKER. This collection of nonfiction is due to be published sometime next year.

Edited by Phil and Sarah Stokes, who operate the official Clive Barker website at www.clivebarker.info, this is the definitive collection of Barker's nonfiction work over the past 25 years, including previously unpublished material, such as an unused self-penned introduction to Volume 1 of the BOOKS OF BLOOD from 1983 written from the point of view of a demon interviewing Barker. Approximately 100 separate nonfiction pieces are collected, and Barker has provided new interior illustrations.
This landmark collection will be released early next year in signed lettered, signed numbered, and unsigned trade hardcover states. It seems that JEFF MARIOTTE'S MISSING WHITE GIRL did well enough for BERKELEY/PENGUIN to sign him to a two book deal. MARIOTTE states that RIVER RUNS RED is due in November and another untitled project coming in the future.
