First Look at the Sequel — Er, Remake — Er, Whatever Fright Night 2

Child’s Play isn’t the only horror franchise moving from theaters to the direct-to-video realm this fall; Fright Night 2: New Blood will land on home video on October 1. Ostensibly a sequel to the 2011 Fright Night remake starring Colin Farrell, Fright Night 2 is actually a standalone re-imagining of the same storyline, with young Charley Brewster, his girlfriend Amy and friend Evil Ed once again stumbling upon a vampire named Gerri Dandridge — this time a woman (their college professor) — and enlisting the help of Peter Vincent (returning to the horror host role of the original film) to defeat the bloodsucker.
