Chloe Sevigny Joins American Horror Story; Dexter Adds Ray Stevenson

A pair of notable names have signed on for the upcoming seasons of two eagerly anticipated shows, revealing some interesting details on what to expect when they premiere this fall. First, Chloe Sevigny (Boys Don’t Cry, Big Love) will appear in Season 2 of American Horror Story as a nymphomaniac named Shelly who will serve as “a foil for [Jessica] Lange’s character.” Last week, series co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed that Lange, who won an Emmy for her role in Season 1, will play a woman who runs a hospital for the criminally insane. (Because it’s an anthology series, returning AHS characters play different roles each season.) French actress Lizzie Brochere and singer Adam Levine were previously added to the cast, joining Season 1’s Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters,Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe. American Horror Story is expected to return to FX in October.
