We at the Charleston City Paper love it when Christmas comes early. Why the other day one of us was checking the mail and got a host of things - not only the entire Critters series on Blu-Ray but the new 4K remaster of Lucio Fulci's Zombie and the Blu-Ray release of Stephen King's coke-fueled killer trucks opus, Maximum Overdrive! That's one heckofa early Christmas gift ... kinda.

The 45-year-old actress underwent a bizarre 465 facial that includes a special epidermal growth factor serum - which uses stem cells from the cloned foreskins of South Korean infants - to revitalize her skin following a long-haul flight and said that the procedure was "amazing". Taking to Instagram to show off the results, she said: "After a long flight I do like to lie down and be covered in a mask of liquified cloned foreskins-frankly who doesn't? Quazar's Arcade, located at 1215 Government St., opened on Friday and had a whirlwind weekend as excited patrons took in the nostalgic lights and sounds of the arcade era. "There were lots of OG pinball players who came out, and a lot of people who have an interest in playing," said co-owner Steve Webb.

Auckland and Wellington dates for the Welsh comedian and television host's first-ever tour of our shores have already sold out. However, rather than add extra performances up north, the Would I Lie to You? compere and The Trip series star has decided to bring his I Am Standing Up show to the Christchurch Town Hall on April 3. A hit since it debuted in the UK in early 2017, I Am Standing Up promises to deliver all of the ad-libs, audience repartee and improvisations that have helped establish him as one of Britain's most well-known faces.
