Brenda Occhipinti is consoled by her daughter, Isabella, as she and her husband, Carlo, talk about their 12-year-old son, Carlo Jr., who recently died of the flu, at their home in Las Vegas, Thursday, Jan. 26, 2018. So far, there have been 18 deaths in Clark County to the flu in what experts are calling a particularly bad season.

"Leave No Trace" is adapted from Portland writer Peter Rock's 2009 novel, "My Abandonment." Rock's novel was inspired by reports in The Oregonian about a man and his adolescent daughter who were found in 2004 after living for four years in a homemade shelter in Portland's Forest Park.

His remains will arrive at St Colmcille Village Oratory on Sunday at 5pm. Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday at 10.15am going to St Michael's Church, Urris, Clonmany for Requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
