I couldn't have been more skeptical about letting David Lynch run wild for an 18-hour sequel to their groundbreaking but befuddling 1990 series. Now I'm a believer.

George Lucas will forever be the father of Star Wars , but you might have never heard of the guy who actually gave Lucas the freedom to actually execute his wild vision and ultimately change the world. That man's name is Alan Ladd, Jr. - better known as "Laddie" to his friends - and now a new documentary dives into Ladd's storied career as an agent, producer, executive, and studio head, where he worked on movies ranging from Blade Runner to Young Frankenstein .

After years of fans calling for it, Oscar Isaac is reportedly in negotiations to voice Gomez Addams in the upcoming animated feature reboot of "The Addams Family" for MGM reports The Tracking Board . There's no word on any casting yet for other roles including Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Lurch or Uncle Fester as MGM was waiting to close its deal with Isaac first before moving on to the rest of the family.

With Star Wars: The Last Jedi out this weekend, top ten lists for the year are getting finalized quick and eyes now seem to be firmly placed on January and 2018. For Star Wars fans, the new year will bring the Han Solo origins movie, Solo , but fans of the new storyline are likely already eyeing the release of Episode IX in late 2019.
