Judge to hear new arguments in long-running Polanski case

A judge is scheduled to hear new arguments from Roman Polanski's lawyer about why the fugitive director's long-running underage sex case should be drawn to a close. Monday's hearing is the first time Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon will hear arguments in the nearly four-decade-old case.

Wizard World Cleveland hits its midpoint tonight with a live concert by Kiss frontman Gene Simmons at the Agora Theater and a showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" with Barry Bostwick, who starred in the movie. Saturday was a busy day with large crowds, so many that it was often hard to get down an aisle at the Huntington Cleveland Convention Center, 300 Lakeside Ave. The convention closes Sunday, usually the best day for comic book bargains.
