When we first told you about the new documentary entitled 78/52 , which screened at this year's Sundance Film Fest, it seemed like it had IFC Midnight's name all over it and indeed it did! Per Deadline , the company has acquired U.S. rights to the Alexandre O. Philippe-directed documentary. 78/52 deconstructs the infamous shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and features interviews with Guillermo del Toro, Bret Easton Ellis, Karyn Kusama, Eli Roth, Walter Murch, Peter Bogdanovich, and more, including Janet Leigh's daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Anthony Perkins' son, Osgood Perkins.
