Juliet Stevenson, Joely Richardson, Carey Mulligan and Vanessa Redgrave during a staged reading of the Dublin III regulation Actresses Carey Mulligan, Juliet Stevenson, Joely Richardson and her mother Vanessa Redgrave laid down the law in a rousing reading of asylum legislation in a last plea to the Government to help child refugees in Calais. The Young Vic theatre in London hosted the poignant performance of the Dublin III regulation, which sets out a child's right to claim asylum, in a production called Last Chance.

One-woman plays are risky business - particularly when they aim to condense a complicated play within a play that addresses many different concepts, such as revolution, civil disobedience, murder and insanity. However, a group of young actors from A zmir known as Praxis Perform have managed to create a one-hour performance out of one of the most difficult plays of the 1960s by Peter Weiss, "The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade," usually shortened to "Marat/Sade."

For "American Pastoral," Ewan McGregor used a technique he learned from director Danny Boyle, which was to clear the set and work alone with the actors before shooting. "That was quite amusing at first," says the 45-year-old Scotsman.

Bela Lugosi, the actor famous portraying the vampire Dracula in the 1931 film by the same name, was born Bela Ferenc Dezso Blasko on Oct. 20, 1882, in what is now the city of Lugoj, Romania. Lugosi starred in or was featured in more than 100 films, including several made in Hungary around 1915.

It was a Friday, as Martha Gilmore remembers it, at some point in the mid-1980s. She was a student at Seton Academy back when it was still on Canal Boulevard, and she was just sitting around with a friend.

There's no doubt about it, George A. Romero's 1968 masterpiece Night of the Living Dead , is one of the single greatest motion pictures of our time. It's finally getting its due too as EW is reporting that the seminal film has been digitally restored by New York's Museum of Modern Art and The Film Foundation.

Dinosaurs have become an issue in Montana's race for governor with a renowned paleontologist who consulted with Steven Spielberg on the "Jurassic Park" movies criticizing the Republican candidate for his beliefs. A new television ad features Jack Horner saying candidate Greg Gianforte supports using taxpayer money to fund "private schools that obscure the truth about dinosaurs and the age of the Earth."
