Juliet Stevenson, Joely Richardson, Carey Mulligan and Vanessa Redgrave during a staged reading of the Dublin III regulation Actresses Carey Mulligan, Juliet Stevenson, Joely Richardson and her mother Vanessa Redgrave laid down the law in a rousing reading of asylum legislation in a last plea to the Government to help child refugees in Calais. The Young Vic theatre in London hosted the poignant performance of the Dublin III regulation, which sets out a child's right to claim asylum, in a production called Last Chance.

However, a group of young actors from A zmir known as Praxis Perform have managed to create a one-hour performance out of one of the most difficult plays of the 1960s by Peter Weiss, "The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade," usually shortened to "Marat/Sade."

Bela Lugosi, the actor famous portraying the vampire Dracula in the 1931 film by the same name, was born Bela Ferenc Dezso Blasko on Oct. 20, 1882, in what is now the city of Lugoj, Romania. Lugosi starred in or was featured in more than 100 films, including several made in Hungary around 1915.
