There are many reasons why we're excited for Friday the 13th: The Game , not the least of which is that we've been BEGGING for a kickass game based on the franchise for many years now. And with Kane Hodder providing the motion-capture and Tom Savini designing the kills, it looks like Gun Media isn't planning on letting us down.

I grew up in the peak popularity of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. I remember watching her on TV, and I even remember going to see her movie in the theaters.

CLASSIC suspense thriller Jaws is being screened at Central Library to launch a season of book adaptations at the St Helens Small Cinema. Steven Spielberg's 70s thriller will be shown on Wednesday, September 14 at 7pm.

Volunteers in Medicine officially transitions a new name, a new space and a new business model today, but volunteers who put their heart and soul into the organization for two decades say one thing isn't changing - the mission. The Volunteers in Medicine mission statement has been placed on the wall at the new VIMCare Clinic, which takes over today providing medical care to area residents who are uninsured or those enrolled in Indiana's Medicaid coverage plan.
