Actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says he hasn't ruled out running for president of the United States when his days in the entertainment business are over. The ten-time heavyweight world wrestling champion-turned Hollywood A-lister told British GQ that he's "not being coy" when he says that he hasn't "ruled politics out."

"The Lobster" I know I suggested this last weekend but I have to give it another nod. Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos really hs made one of the more interesting relationship movies you are going to see this year, the almost Pinteresque performances , especially from Colin Ferrell and the perpetually-underused Ashley Jensen.

Made up of the likes of Robert Altman, Woody Allen, Michael Cimino, and William Friedkin , these filmmakers had differing levels of success, but they attained legendary status by bringing a more adult, sobering storytelling to movie theaters in an era absorbed by the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights Movement.

A few days ago came word from producer Brad Fuller that the upcoming second reboot of the "Friday the 13th" franchise will incorporate a new origin story for the iconic hockey-masked killer Jason Voorhees. Screenwriter Aaron Guzikowski penned the last draft of the script and now sources for Birth Movies Death claim that Jason's abusive father Elias Voorhees will be featured in the story.

In a secluded laboratory in Central Copenhagen, the brewmasters behind Carlsberg beer have spent the better part of a year tinkering with 130-year-old yeast, digging through archived recipes, and playing beer-gods in ways that would make Jurassic Park -era Jeff Goldblum furious and probably lead him to say "uhhh" a lot. These tall, inexplicably beautiful Scandinavian scientists essentially pulled a full-blown Michael Crichton move and cloned a lager from 1883 -- taking a sample from one of the first "pure yeast" beers in the world , and then following recipes and specifications from the era to recreate the brew as faithfully as possible.
