Salva was convicted in 1988 of sexual misconduct involving a 12-year-old boy from his movie Clownhouse. He also pleaded guilty to lewd and lascivious conduct, oral sex with a person under 14-years-old, and procuring a child for pornography, and was sentenced to three years in prison.

The literary world suffered a significant loss over the weekend when Michigan author and writer Jim Harrison passed away at the age of 78 at his home in Arizona. He achieved mainstream success when his novella Legends of the Fall was made into a feature film starring Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt in 1994.

It is really possible that Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" already earned "underrated" status after its record-breaking weekend at the box office? Seems like critics and some fanboys had it in for the new flick pitting DC Comics biggest superheroes against each other for the first time ever on the big screen, which gave it little to no chance once they finally saw the movie. Even some of the pre-haters caught themselves defending aspects of it when they realized they spoke too soon, judging the book by its cover without considering the context and judging the movie as a whole.
