I'm typically unperturbed by Oscar noms, save for when something gets surprisingly snubbed or rewarded . Demian Bichir's nomination for A BETTER LIFE is as perfect an example as any of something that completely caught me offguard in the best way.

The legend that is Angela Lansbury was honoured in Dublin yesterday with a special tribute award at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival. The Taoiseach Enda Kenny was greeted with boos and jeers as he came onto the stage to present her with the award at An Bord Gais Energy Theatre.

Vikings star Clive Standen is set to take on the role of Bryan Mills in NBC's straight-to-series Taken prequel , The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The drama is described as a modern-day prequel to Luc Besson's feature of the same name that starred Neeson as retired CIA operative Bryan Mills on a one-man mission to save his kidnapped daughter.
