Mamma Mia actress Amanda Seyfield has reportedly landed herself a role in the upcoming revival of the much loved TV show Twin Peaks. Sources say she is set appear in several episodes and has landed 'a major role' but it is not yet known what her character's name in the drama will be.

NBC orders prequel for Taken film series

The protagonist of thriller franchise Taken, Bryan Mills, is to receive his own prequel series on NBC. The network has approved a series of the project from French director Luc Besson, who directed the 2008 kidnap-themed hit and its two sequels, which starred Liam Neeson as a former CIA agent.

CBS Developing Island of Dr. Moreau Adaptation with Female Lead

CBS is developing an adaptation of H.G. Wells' novel The Island of Dr. Moreau with Sleepy Hollow co-creator Phillip Iscove , Deadline reports. Titled Moreau , the drama would follow Dr. Katherine Moreau, a physiologist who goes to a privately funded island hospital to experiment with creating animal-human hybrids.
