The story is based on the film by Roger Corman with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken.

We can only say thank you to Cohen Media Group for bringing a rediscovered classic by the Master of Suspense to Blu-ray and DVD. Alfred Hitchcock's 1939 period adventure Jamaica Inn , featuring a towering performance by Charles Laughton and the first major role for Maureen O'Hara, has been fully restored for its 75th anniversary.

Tricia Lawrence, who is employed at a nearby pub, said she has fallen victim to attacks from the cunning animals on the way to work.

Ever since up-and-coming actress Megan Draper donned the same T-shirt that Sharon Tate wore in a 1967 photo shoot, "Mad Men" conspiracy theorists have been writing the character's obituary, believing she'll meet a tragic end along the same lines as the fate that befell the '60s sex symbol. The logic is that the show hasn't skimped on showing the social upheaval prevalent in 1968 New York, what with all the wailing police sirens, the riots and Peggy stabbing her then boyfriend Abe with a makeshift bayonet .

"Saw" filmmaker Darren Lynn Bousman's New Orleans-shot horror film " Abattoir " is still months from landing in theaters, but it's already got the green light for a sequel, with the hope of turning it into a full-on horror franchise, according to Variety .
