"Inherent Vice" : "Inherent Vice" is a stoner "Chinatown" as directed by Wes Anderson, if Wes got sick midway through it and the darker Paul Thomas Anderson took over for the last acts. Stupidly long, this is the first real patience-tester from a director who typically works "long," a muddle of amusing conceits and aimless, infuriating randomness.

The I Know What You Did Last Summer star and husband Brian Hallisay are adding another member to their family later this year , her representative has confirmed to Us Weekly. Hewitt and Hallisay began dating in 2012 after falling in love on the set of their now-canceled TV drama The Client List.

This shouldn't come as a big surprise to anybody with an interest in the "Taken 3," mainly because of the big plot reveal in the trailers and television spots for the final installment in the "Taken" franchise: Things do not end well for Famke Janssen's beloved character, Lenore. In a phone call from New York Wednesday, Janssen told me not only did she know before she read the film's script that something tragic was going to happen to Lenore -- the ex-wife of former CIA operative Bryan Mills -- she wholeheartedly embraced the idea instead of getting depressed by it.

The Stanley Hotel , the 100-year-old Colorado resort that served as inspiration for Stephen King 's 1977 novel, The Shining , has launched a contest to design a 61,500-square-foot hedge maze inspired by the climactic scene of Stanley Kubrick 's 1980 film adaptation . The deadline for the contest is January 31, 2015, with a ribbon cutting set for April 30, 2015-the opening of the third annual Stanley Film Festival .

Does Jimmy Fallon really think he has a chance at beating Liam Neeson in a round of arm wrestling? The Tonight Show host was so confident he could beat the Taken 3 star that he even played a little game of "If I Win" during the match. "If I win, I'm going to get a tattoo on my lower back that says: 'Better ingredients, better pizza, Papa John's.'

We have seen a huge amount of movie remakes over the years and, while a lot of these remakes have gone on to fall well short of the original films, with some remakes being completely unnecessary, there have been some that have come at the right time and have worked to perfection.
