Amityville, the movie formerly known as Amityville: The Lost Tapes, is beginning to take shape -- and having been in development since 2011, it's about time. (Unfortunately, the title Amityville: It's About Time has already been taken.) As its previous title implies, the film was originally planned as a found footage film about a reporter investigating the infamous haunted house, but now, the found footage angle has reportedly been scrapped, and the movie will follow a single mother's experience in the house after she and her kids move in.
