There aren't many horror/suspense movies releasing this year between Halloween and the end of the year; in fact, IFC Midnight's Contracted is currently the only one scheduled for November. However, what the calendar lacks in quantity, it might make up for in quality. December's Here Comes the Devil certainly seems promising, and Contracted looks like an intriguing take on zombie lore. It comes from the director of last year's backwoods horror movie Madison County and details a young woman's descent into zombie-dom after contracting a sexually transmitted disease. Who knew zombies get freaky? Check out the cringe-worthy trailer for Contracted, which is available in limited theatrical release and on demand starting November 22.
