Dexter might not be around for much longer, but there will be plenty of serial killers headlining TV shows for the foreseeable future, including Hannibal, Bates Motel, The Following and…American Psycho? That could soon be a reality, as FX is actively developing a show based on the 2000 cult movie that starred Christian Bale as a 1980s investment banker named Patrick Bateman who moonlighted as a homicidal maniac.
