2010 Saturn Award Nominees Announced

Nominations for the 36th annual Saturn Awards have been announced by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. Drag Me to Hell received the most nominations of any horror movie, with five, while the supernatural thriller The Lovely Bones also racked up five nods. Dexter and True Blood each earned five nominations in the TV categories. This year, the six nominees for Best Horror Film are:
All in all, a decent list. I’m not going to complain about New Moon because at least it’s in the horror realm, unlike so many Saturn nominees that don’t even approach either sci fi, horror OR fantasy (Brothers? The Hurt Locker? Leverage? Breaking Bad?).
