The recently announced third film in the "rebooted" Halloween franchise has reportedly already been delayed, only a month or so into pre-production. In what's a remarkable show of restraint for a Hollywood film, the delay is reported to be due to concerns that the project was simply "rushing too fast." Halloween 3 had aimed to finish filming in time for director Patrick Lussier to helm another movie in January, but now it will have to wait until he's completed that film. This means that Halloween 3 (in 3-D!), which had been scheduled to hit theaters in the summer of 2010, probably won't be released until at least the fall of 2010. Perhaps around, I dunno...Halloween?
