Craig & Ledger Both Up for the Role of the Devil

The film, likely to be directed by Scott Derickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) according to Dark Horizons, is based on the 17th-century epic poem, which tells the story of Lucifer's fall and the temptation of Adam and Eve.

The writers are reportedly moving away from the Milton text a bit and favoring the war or archangels.
