Dracula isn't exactly setting ratings records for NBC, but that isn't stopping the network from developing another show based on a legendary Universal monster movie -- this time, it's The Wolf Man. Technically, the show will be based on the 2010 remake starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins, so I guess we should expect something along that storyline and aesthetic. If it makes it past the pilot stage, the plan is to team The WolfMan (apparently, that's the spelling they're going with) with Dracula and Grimm for a horror-themed Friday night lineup. Fans of Dracula might take that as a good sign that the vampire series will get renewed, especially considering The WolfMan is coming from David Knauf, head writer and executive producer of Dracula. Interestingly, this won't be Knauf's first foray into TV werewolf territory; he previously wrote/produced the short-lived CBS show Wolf Lake.
