Nathan Abrams, a professor of film at Bangor University, told The Guardian that he found the 1956 script Kubrick co-wrote along with novelist Calder Willingham, based on Stefan Zweig's 1913 novella, "Burning Secret"; Kubrick and Willingham collaborated on "Paths of Glory" a year later.
