RUBIX CUBE AD, 2006 01:33 Directed by Karl Whiting Genre: Thriller / Comedy Edited by Mike Fryer. This is a short advert made for a college project, it was filmed at the beginning of 2006 but only recently edited. This was the first film to be edited on our new software. We had so much fun filming this ad that we had 29 minutes of footage, this is an extended version of the film. The short version is 45 seconds long. Mike and Lee don't live at this house anymore, so it was nice seeing the footage again after such a long time.

The End II trailer came about when Lee was messing around with some sound effects for the RS archives. and so decided to make this trailer. all the sound in the film except the glass smasing and the music, was recorded in our house. Mike got home from work to find lee sitting looking at the tv screen, with a smug look on his face. It was a DVD menu. the only thing visible was the 'II'. There were no plans to make his film, just as there was no plans to make The End III. Make sure you turn your speakers up. Hope you enjoy the second film in 'The End Trilogy'.

Das Video gehört sicher nicht in die Kategorie "Einmal gesehen und abgehakt". Trotzdem war es uns wichtig, keine "Kunstkacke" zu produzieren, soll heißen, wir wollten ein Video machen, daß man auch einfach genießen können darf. Für alle, die versuchen, einen tieferen Sinn in dem Video zu finden, hier ein paar erklärende Worte: Inspiriert zum Song/Video wurde Jackie durch die "Herr der Ringe"-Trilogie, die ja auch von Wesen aus dem Untergrund, anderen, dunklen Welten, aber auch den eigenen Abgründen handelt. Das Video setzt sich aus mehreren parallel laufenden Handlungssträgen/Szenen zusammen, die obige Thematik aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln beleuchten. Die Szenen spielen zum Teil in der Vergangenheit, zum Teil in der Jetzt-Zeit.

The Orphanage, presented by Oscar-Nominee Guillermo del Toro, centers on a Laura (Belén Rueda from The Sea Inside) who purchases her beloved childhood orphanage with dreams of restoring and reopening the long abandoned facility as a place for disabled children. After their car runs out of gas a group of five end up stranded in the same place a killer is hiding out. Although to their surprise the killer was once a United States soldier, not only earning top medals and honors but is involved in a huge cover-up within the republican national party in efforts to do what they think is right to save future generations from the younger upcoming ones that have lost care for country and the overall nation by living their lives through drugs, sex, and money.

Paranoia sets in as Ms. Maggie believes someone is outside her house. Imagination or...?
