Hulu has renewed "Castle Rock," its drama that pays tribute to the Stephen King universe, for a second season. According to Bloody Disgusting , Barbara Crampton, best known for her roles in films like Chopping Mall and Re-Animator has joined the cast of SYFY's latest horror anthology endeavor, Channel Zero : The Dream Door . Crampton will play Vanessa Moss, a woman with a special relationship with Tom Hodgson, played by Brandon Scott .
Notorious serial killer Michael Myers will return to Universal Studios Hollywood this year during the theme park's annual Halloween Horror Nights. The attraction will be based on "Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers."
Auteur director David Robert Mitchell has been tapped to adapt the horror short They Hear It for Legendary Entertainment and producer The Picture Company. Mitchell will write the script for the adaptation, but the filmmaker behind the 2014 cult horror hit It Follows and the upcoming Under the Silver Lake will not direct it.
