‘Rocky Horror’ To World Premiere At Mipcom; Machinima…

Fox's two-hour Rocky Horror Picture Show TV movie has been set for a world premiere screening at Mipcom this October. The Cannes TV conference, which last year hosted the world premiere of the new X-Files , and whose sister market Mip-TV screened the Roots reboot for the first time in April, will show the new version on October 18. It then debuts on Fox on October 20. The special features Laverne Cox as Dr Frank-N-Furter; Victoria Justice as Janet; Ryan McCartan as Brad; and Adam Lambert as Eddie.

Barry Bostwick to host ‘Rocky Horror’ showing at Hanover

Actor Barry Bostwick, who played all-American Brad Majors in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," will host a screening of the film at The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 to celebrate its 40th anniversary. "40th Anniversary The Rocky Horror Picture Show Film Screening Party With Barry Bostwick" will include the screening, a costume contest, and a Q&A with Bostwick.

Winona Ryder has spoken about her infamous shoplifting conviction in 2001. The actress, who is currently appearing in sci-fi Netflix drama Stranger Things , was convicted of attempting to steal items amounting to $5,500 from Beverly Hills department store Saks Fifth Avenue.

It's funny how things happen just the other day I was speaking with someone from FEARnet and asked him how Peter Block was doing Turns out he's doing pretty okay! EW reports that Block has acquired the rights to the Pumpkinhead franchise and plans on shooting a reboot of the horror series in 2017. Block is currently looking for a filmmaker to direct the project, which he will produce and plans to be a theatrical release.

Just when you thought "Ash vs. Evil Dead" couldn't get any more over the top, Bruce Campbell and the cast promise "buckets of blood" and more outrageous comedy in Season 2. Appearing at the Television Critics Association 2016 Summer TV Press Tour, Campbell -- who lives in Southern Oregon -- looked rather suave, with his hair cropped and naturally gray, as opposed to the dyed-black coiffure splendor his Ash Williams character sports in the Starz horror-comedy. But, as always, Campbell's sense of humor was in evidence, as when he discussed the blood we'll see as Ash and his cohorts try and battle the demonic Deadites, who are up to their old evil tricks.
