EXCLUSIVE: There isn't a premiere date yet for Showtime 's new Twin Peaks series but the David Lynch directed project may be making an appearance at the Sundance Film Festival . While nothing has been nailed down as strong as a good cup of joe, Deadline has learned that there have been discussions for the new version of the acclaimed ABC 1990s TV series to be showcased at the Robert Redford founded fest - which has increasingly seen a larger and larger small screen presence.

Along with two more clips , Ruby Rose stars in a new featurette that provides some intel on her character, Abigail, aka the film's "mechanic." The film was written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and stars series regulars Milla Jovovich, Iain Glen, Ali Larter, and Shawn Roberts in addition to newcomers Lee Joon-gi, Rola, William Levy, and Ruby Rose.

Although it's not entirely a surprise given the end-credits sequence of his own recent solo film, Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange is now confirmed to play a part in Marvel Studios ' upcoming Thor: Ragnarok . In a preview of what the company has to offer in 2017, Disney 's official fan club D23 highlights the Taika Waititi film with the following description: "Thor: Ragnarok in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new."
